IN OUR COMMUNITY

Community Outreach

During this time of uncertainty, we are responding to the needs of our community as they develop.  At the church, we have an emergency needs coordinator available to link those who are shut in and need errands run, deliveries made, or other assistance with our team of volunteers in our congregation.

If you are in need of assistance or would like to volunteer, please contact Wendy at 541-389-6859 or email comm@sisterschurch.com

A Beautiful Gift - Face Masks

The Mission Quilters have been busy making face masks for medical service people and others in our town during the Covid-19 Pandemic.  Together they have made over 300 masks and given them to St. Charles Medical Center, Senior Care Facilities, Visiting Angels, local stores like Bi-Mart and Ace Hardware, and other locations.  The fabric and labor has been donated by so many caring folks wanting to help.  We are so grateful for their hard work and care for those who need them at this time.

SCC Scholarship

This year, 2020, the SCC scholarship went to Kaylee Huber, a Sisters High School senior.  Kaylee lettered in many sports programs, and also participated in band, faith club, and yearbook, all while maintaining exceptional grades during high school.  She is planning to attend California Baptist University majoring in Criminal Justice/Criminology this fall.  We are grateful for the opportunity to support local Christian high school students as they pursue professional degrees and influence our world for Christ.

"Thank you so much for supporting me

on my journey!"  -Kaylee Huber
