How to Give

There are several ways you can give at SCC.

in person

Please feel free to bring your checks to our worship service on Sunday where an offering is taken during worship, or deposit them anytime in one of the offering boxes located in each of our foyers.

Many people prefer to give online. For your convenience, you can set up a safe and secure online giving account that will enable you to make manual or auto withdrawal gifts to our general or designated funds. Setting up a secure account only takes a couple of minutes. Click on the blue button below.

give assets

Securities. Stocks, bonds and mutual funds can be transferred or assigned to Sisters Community Church. These gifts allow you to deduct the fair market value of the security and avoid capital gains tax. Contact Sheryl in the church office for stock transfer account information - 541-549-1201.

Planned giving (wills and bequests). Naming Sisters Community Church as a beneficiary in your estate planning can help advance the mission of our church for many years to come.

Why Give?

Giving is designed to be a practical way that we can joyfully respond to God's grace in our lives. We believe that our money is inextricably linked to our worship, both corporately and individually. You may have heard someone say the Bible talks more about money than it does anything else. We think it is better to say the Bible uses money more than anything else to talk about issues of our heart.

Giving isn't a way to gain favor with God - Jesus has already secured that for us. Giving is a response to God's gifts and kindness to us.
