Women's Drop-In Summer Bible Study Begins (PM)
Bible study is not an optional exercise for only a certain set of believers, it is the way God has provided to reveal Himself to all believers. Love for God will lead to passion for His words recorded in Scripture.
How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! (Psalm 119:103)
The Bible should be read with prayer, humility, and expectation for transformation. It is God’s divine word. When applied by the Holy Spirit, His word is transformational to the human heart that is ready to receive it.
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)
We have to understand the Bible in order to be transformed by it. What if there were places where the Bible actually taught us how to study the Bible? It turns out there are! This is the focus of our women’s drop-in Bible study this summer. No homework or preparation are required. Just drop in and learn how to be transformed by God’s word. All materials will be provided at no cost to you. We look forward to seeing you!
Wednesdays, July 8-August 19 in the Fireside Room.
Two gathering options: 10-11:30 a.m. or 6-7:30 p.m.
If childcare is needed, please email women@sisterschurch.comand give the ages of your children.

PRCCO Baby Bottle Drive
PRCCO’s Baby Bottle Fundraiser has begun! Your contribution (cash, checks, coins) will help support Pregnancy Resource Centers of Central
Oregon, a local non-profit ministry offering life-affirming alternatives to those facing unplanned pregnancy. All services are provided free and are confidential. Your donation will help support the ministry, so they can continue transforming lives and sharing the love and truth of Jesus Christ. It’s easy: pick up a baby bottle at church on Mother’s Day, May 10, take it home and fill it with cash, checks, coins, and return it back here at SCC by Father’s Day, June 21.
For more information about PRCCO, please visit www.prcco.org.
National Day of Prayer
Join us Thursday, May 7 in the Prayer Room from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. as we gather under the theme Contending for Marriages, Church Leadership, and Our Youth. We will be praying for strength, healing, and unity in marriages, God’s direction and provision for church leadership, and for our youth to experience His grace and walk boldly in their faith.
The Prayer Room will be open all day—come for as little or as long as you are able. A sign-up sheet with hour-long slots will be available at the door. There is no pressure to pray out loud; simply being present matters. Where two or more are gathered, He is there—so let’s gather together.
“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” – Colossians 4:2
