SCC Children’s Classes
Special Event July 26. K-5 students will have a game day on the baseball fields during service this coming Sunday. Please wear clothes that can get dirty & wet! Check in & dismissal will be as usual, and pick up at the ballfields after service.

Children’s Church will take a break during the month of August to give our faithful volunteers a short rest before the next school year begins. The Nursery will be always open for 0-2 year olds, but parents must stay with their children. There are pizza boxes available for quiet activities during the service for our Pre-K through 5th graders. Families are welcome to come to either the 8 or 10 a.m. services. The Fireside Room will be available most Sundays if there are wiggly bodies or a desire to use the tables for the kids to work.

SCC provides a safe and engaging place with weekly Bible-based lessons where children learn of God’s love, and are known and loved by caring teachers.
Classes are age-appropriate for nursery (0-2 years), Preschool (3-4 years), Kindergarten-1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade, and 4th-5th grade (girls & boys are in separate classes). All classes meet in the Children’s Wing of the church during the 10 a.m. service.
Children’s Check-in & Check-out Procedures
Parents/guardians may check in all children nursery–Grade 5 upon arrival in the Children’s wing. You will receive a special ID connected to your student. Nursery & Pre-K go straight to class. K-5 is dismissed to their classrooms after worship.
In an effort to keep pickup in the children’s wing more efficient and less congested, please stay on the right side of the hallway as much as possible to pick up your child(ren), and exit the Children’s Wing on the right (going towards the Foyer), much like driving a vehicle. The classrooms are labeled: Room 1: Preschool, Room 2: K & 1st grade, Room 3: 2nd & 3rd grade, Room 4: Girls 4/5th grade, Room 5: Boys 4/5th grade.
Parents, please make sure to present your ID to the teacher at the time of pick-up to easily check out your student(s)!
