SCC Children’s Classes
SCC provides a safe and engaging place with weekly Bible-based lessons where children learn of God’s love, and are known and loved by caring teachers.
Classes are age-appropriate for nursery (0-2 years), Preschool (3-4 years), Kindergarten-1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade, and 4th-5th grade (girls & boys are in separate classes). All classes meet in the Children’s Wing of the church.
Note: There will be no children’s ministry classes (Nursery-5th grade) during the month of August. This gives all of our volunteers a nice break! Thank you for your understanding. Classes will resume in September. Activity boxes for PreK-5th graders will be available in the Lobby, and the nursery room will be open for diaper changes.
Children’s Check-in & Check-out Procedures
Parents/guardians may check in all children nursery–Grade 5 upon arrival in the Children’s wing. Nursery & Pre-K go straight to class. K-5 is dismissed to their classrooms after worship.
In an effort to keep pickup in the children’s wing more efficient and less congested, please stay on the right side of the hallway as much as possible to pick up your child(ren), and exit the Children’s Wing on the right (going towards the Foyer), much like driving a vehicle. The classrooms are labeled: Room 1: Preschool, Room 2: K & 1st grade, Room 3: 2nd & 3rd grade, Room 4: Girls 4/5th grade, Room 5: Boys 4/5th grade.
