1. What should I expect when I visit SCC?

You can expect a welcoming, relaxed environment with both contemporary and traditional worship music, prayer, and practical Bible teaching centered on the Bible and how it applies to our lives. Our desire is to help people connect with God, care for one another, and grow in a genuine community.

2. What should I wear?

Come as you are. You will see everything from jeans and casual clothes to more traditional Sunday attire. There is no dress code, and we want you to feel comfortable.

3. What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving about 10–15 minutes before the service begins. That gives you time to park, find your way around, grab a cup of coffee, and check in children if needed.

4. Where do I park and where do I go when I arrive?

Parking is available right next to the SCC main building. When you arrive, look for our Worship Center entrance and greeters. Parking lot attendees are also in place so if you are unsure where to go, just ask—we would be glad to help you find the worship center, children’s areas, restrooms, or anything else you need.

5. What is available for my children?

We want children to know they are loved by God and valued by our church family. SCC provides age-appropriate biblical teaching and activities in a safe, caring environment. Our children’s ministry uses a secure check-in process, and our volunteers are carefully selected and trained. Care is available for nursery age children and Sunday classes available for ages pre-kindergarten through 8th grade @ the 10 a.m. service only. High school students attend the main services.

6. What is available for middle school and high school students?

SCC’s student ministry helps young people grow in their relationship with Jesus, build healthy friendships, study the Bible, and learn to serve others. Students have opportunities to participate in gatherings, small groups, activities, service projects, and special events throughout the year.

7. What is the worship service like?

Our services include contemporary and traditional worship, prayer, and biblically grounded teaching that connects Scripture to everyday life. We believe the Bible is God’s Word and is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to both belief and behavior.

Our goal is not simply to attend a service, but to help people know God more deeply and live out their faith throughout the week.

8. Do I need to be a Christian or know much about the Bible to attend?

Not at all. You are welcome whether you have followed Jesus for many years, are returning to church after being away, or are simply exploring what Christianity is about.

We believe Jesus Christ is the One who restores our relationship with God, and we want SCC to be a place where people can hear biblical truth, ask honest questions, and discover who Jesus is.

9. Will I be expected to give money?

No. Guests should never feel obligated to give. Giving is an act of worship for those who consider SCC their church home and want to support the ministry and mission of the church.

We want your first experience at SCC to be about connecting with God and getting to know our church family—not about financial expectations.

10. How can I get connected if I decide SCC might be the church for me?

There are many ways to take the next step at SCC. You can join a Life Group, participate in a ministry, serve on a volunteer team, attend a church event, or explore membership.

We believe followers of Jesus are meant to grow as part of a local church community—not in isolation. SCC members are encouraged to participate in the life and ministry of the church, care for one another, and use their gifts to serve.
