Bible study is not an optional exercise for only a certain set of believers, it is the way God has provided to reveal Himself to all believers. Love for God will lead to passion for His words recorded in Scripture.

How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! (Psalm 119:103)

The Bible should be read with prayer, humility, and expectation for transformation. It is God’s divine word. When applied by the Holy Spirit, His word is transformational to the human heart that is ready to receive it.

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

We have to understand the Bible in order to be transformed by it. What if there were places where the Bible actually taught us how to study the Bible? It turns out there are! This is the focus of our women’s drop-in Bible study this summer. No homework or preparation are required. Just drop in and learn how to be transformed by God’s word.
