Now Hiring: New Job Position at SCC

Karen Williams, who has faithfully served for several years as SCC Children's Ministry Director, is retiring to spend more time with her family. 

As a result, SCC is now seeking a Children’s Ministry Director to provide vision, leadership, and oversight for all children’s programs (Nursery–5th grade) starting this summer.  The selected candidate will spend the summer training alongside Karen to ensure a smooth transition into full leadership of the ministry in the fall.

This role includes leading and developing a collaborative ministry team, recruiting and training volunteers, overseeing weekly teaching and special events, managing ministry operations and communication, and ensuring safety and compliance standards are met. 

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, administrative, and communication skills, with at least three years of relevant experience. This position also involves budget management and active participation in church staff leadership.
